Fashion Styling
Overview
I’ve loved fashion since I was a kid—making beaded bracelets, crocheting, embroidering denim, and best of all, organizing creative fashion shows for my neighborhood. I’d style my friends, and we’d have so much fun. It’s incredible how that passion has carried into my professional life. Here are some of my favorite styling projects.
Sparkpick & SPARK + REBEL
Creative director & Stylist, 2020-2025
In 2020, I embarked on an incredible journey with Sparkpick, an eco-fashion blog born from my deep reflection after watching The True Cost, a documentary about the fast fashion industry. What started as a simple blog quickly evolved into so much more—a journey of personal, creative, and professional transformation.
Over time, Sparkpick has grown into a vibrant community of stylists, life coaches, and transformational guides, all united by one mission: helping people discover their true self-expression through fashion. We even launched an online store on Poshmark and eBay, offering a curated selection of unique, pre-loved fashion pieces.
In 2022, our sub-brand, SPARK + REBEL, came to life. Since its inception, it has been on its own extraordinary path, exploring bold styles and pushing creative boundaries.
Below, you’ll find some of my favorite looks crafted for both Sparkpick and SPARK + REBEL—starting with the Harajuku-inspired street style collections of 2025, a celebration of fearless self-expression and eco-conscious creativity.
Salon 96 Throckmorton Collab
Creative director & Stylist, June 2024
In this exciting project, my eco-fashion brand, SPARK + REBEL, teamed up with the newly opened Bay Area beauty salon, 96 Throckmorton, for a creative collaboration. The salon’s owner envisioned a series of vibrant photos celebrating the diversity of their Oakland community—images that would adorn the salon’s interior and light up its social media.
This vision aligned beautifully with SPARK + REBEL’s mission to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and self-expression. After all, style isn’t just about hair or clothing—it’s about the vibe, the personality, and the story you’re telling.
Our creative strategy centered on embracing key archetypes like The Outlaw, The Creative, The Innocent, and The Hero, reflecting the unique energy and spirit of the community. As Creative Director and Stylist, I crafted six distinct archetypal looks that came to life with the help of our talented hair and makeup team, using upcycled fashion pieces from SPARK + REBEL.
The result? A vibrant, personality-packed collection of visuals that beautifully captured the essence of self-expression and individuality.
Cetana Salon Project
Creative director & Stylist, Nov 2019
For this collaboration with the Cetana hair salon in San Francisco, I art-directed a photoshoot, coordinated the photography, shot a short video, and edited the images into artworks designed for marketing purposes.
The clients wanted to highlight sustainability, primarily because the salon was partnered with Aveda at the time—a brand known for its high-performance vegan hair products. The hair styling featured upcycled yarn threads, minimalistic cuts, and “wet hair” looks. The post-editing incorporated nature-inspired collages, overlays, and layered effects, bringing the concept to life.
